Today I met Mr. Robot. He is the machine in the hospital that holds all the medicines in small tubes that enter by body. Actually the I V pole where he attaches himself has little circle hooks on top. They look like eyes. The two small boxes look like rectangles they have smaller buttons to push that are small squares. When you push them it tells the robot what to do. Today, the robot talked to me in his robot voice. He said “today one tube will be your tumor blaster, the next tube will be your tummy medicine, the green tube is the one that glows in the dark. It is the chord that will let you float into outer space while the tumor blaster attacks the enemy” The robot and I are ready for blast off. Here we go! Ten, nine, eight, seven, six, five, four, three two, one....we are off into outer space! As I am floating into outer space with the robot we floated by thousands of beautiful stars. They were big daddy stars, mommy stars, and stars of children of every age. I thought I heard a few of the teenage stars play rock music and the little stars were dancing. They party a lot at night when it is dark because that is when they shine the brightest. I asked the robot How do you make a star? He told met that the brightest stars are the souls of children who went to the beautiful heavens to play. They took sand and moon beams and all kinds of star cookie cutters. They even added sparkling glitter. Some of the children loved the heavens so much that they wanted to stay and make more stars. So God said “let there be light” and let all the children who wanted to stay help God make stars for all the world to see. God knew that this was good because he was getting quite old and needed to wear glasses. He kissed every star for helping him see and danced with them in a big giant circle around the moon. All of the stars were so happy all the time because they knew that they would shine forever and ever. The robot and I came back to earth after our wonderful trip and I was so glad he told me the story about the stars. Maybe someday I may want to stay and sprinkle mine with rainbow dust so it will shine very, very, bright in the dark, dark, night.
